America and Tel Aviv's Supporters Plan Against PMF

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Maalomah, Mukhtar Al-Musawi, a representative of the Iraqi parliament, stated that the United States and some countries that have normalized relations with the Zionist regime have a plan to weaken the role of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq.

He added that some of these countries are dissatisfied with the role of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq as a security force after their extensive achievements against ISIS.

Al-Musawi clarified that these pressures are aimed at redefining the Iraqi security arena in order to realize the interests of foreign countries and against the Popular Mobilization Forces.

He stated that the Baghdad government should support these forces and their legal status and not be influenced by foreign pressures.
