US Plans in the Region Are Not in Baghdad’s Interest
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Maluma, Hamed Al-Moussawi, spokesman for the Badr Iraqi parliamentary faction, stated: The country must be freed from the restrictions imposed by the US in the political and economic spheres.
He stated: The continued dominance of the US over Iraq is an obstacle to the country’s independence and the establishment of international economic cooperation. The US uses economic and political pressures to achieve its goals.
Al-Moussawi emphasized: At the current stage, a serious stance must be taken with the aim of moving towards the national economy. The experiences of past years prove that US plans in the region are not in the interest of Iraq’s stability and prosperity. Strengthening national sovereignty is the best response to end foreign interventions.
