UAE Also Withdrew From OAPEC

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Arabi 21, the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) announced that the UAE has also withdrawn from this organization.

This is while the UAE announced its withdrawal from OPEC and the OPEC+ coalition last Tuesday.

Previously, Mohammed Al-Sabban, former advisor to the Saudi Minister of Energy, emphasized that the UAE's decision to withdraw from OPEC+ in the current situation, especially with the country's limited surplus production capacity, has raised many questions.

He added that the UAE's move will not affect the stability of the organization or its role in global markets. Couldn't the UAE have waited until its production capacity reached five million barrels per day?

Al-Sabban clarified that it is not unlikely that the United States is behind this decision. Trump wants to show himself as the controller of global oil markets. This move aims to create instability in OPEC+, but this will not happen.
