According to Abbas Kadkhodaei, spokesman for the Guardian
Council, the Thai delegation is slated to meet with Secretary of the Guardian
Council Ahmad Jannati, a number of senior Judiciary officials, and to attend
the Council’s general meeting.
The Constitutional Court of Thailand is an independent court established in 1997 with jurisdiction over the constitutionality of parliamentary acts, royal decrees, draft legislation, as well as the appointment and removal of public officials and issues regarding political parties. The current court is part of the judicial branch of the Thai national government. The court consists of 1 president and 8 fellow judges.
