Takfiri Terrorists Facing Social, Military BreakdownSpeaking to the Tasnim News Agency, General Rassoul Sanai-Raad said the Takfiri militants have lost their self-confidence in the face of the resistance forces in Syria and Iraq.

A sign of the low morale within the Takfiri groups is the way they surrender to the resistance forces and flee the battlefield, the general added, saying the terrorists are neither capable of offense nor defense.

The Takfiri current is facing social dissolution, he added, saying it would pave the way for their total military defeat.

In late June, Iraqi military forces recaptured the northern city of Mosul from Daesh (ISIL) terrorist group after eight months of urban warfare.

Daesh stronghold in Syria’s Raqqa is also close to falling.

Daesh militants made swift advances in northern and western Iraq over the summer of 2014, after capturing swaths of northern Syria.

Afterwards, a combination of concentrated attacks by the Iraqi military and the volunteer forces, who rushed to take arms after Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani issued a fatwa calling for the fight against the militants, blunted the edge of Daesh offensive and forced the terrorist group withdraw from much of the areas it had occupied.
