FM: Bright future ahead of Iran

TEHRAN (Defapress)-Zarif told a group of students that pressures might be piled up on the country, but the difference with others Iran has is that its power and progress is based on people and thriving.

'Today, we are lying on special condition worldwide and such condition of transition is not something new. After collapse of the eastern block, the world faced a new phenomenon as it did in the past. That's for almost 40 years or more that the world is bipolar. Order is something predictable and measurable and you can witness what a result is and such an order ruined after the cold war,' the Iranian foreign minister said.

He said that he believes the cold war had a loser, but no one considers himself its winner.

'Americans spent too much after the cold war. The form of competitions has changed because the source of power has changed and components of power are no longer the markers of military or military equipment,' Zarif added.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Zarif said, 'We consider everything coming from people and it is not important to whom people voted. What's of importance for me is 73 percent of people's vote and that under conditions when there were many publicity but people came and voted to somebody and despite all immoralities, they distinguished where to stand.
