Anti-Iranian conditions nonstarters: US ex-polTEHRAN (Defapress)– 'These are nonnegotiable; I don’t see Iran agreeing to them. If Iran agreed to them, there wouldn’t be a whole lot to negotiate,' Denis Jat told.

Jat said that many of these demands go beyond nuclear deal; just the first three conditions are related to Iran nuclear program, but the other nine 'have nothing to do with the nuclear program,' adding that Iran is waiting for Europe to come up with the plans to circumvent the American sanctions.

He said that with re-imposing the sanctions on Iran, 'they would like to see regime change' in Iran.

He added that Tom Cotton and John Bolton are among those who seek regime change in Iran.

Regarding the US attempt to form a consensus against Iran, Jat said that the Europeans have announced that they are committed to the deal. They may be about to have Poland and Hungary and Guatemala to go along because they want 'to curry favor with the United states' in the same way that the made a coalition to invade Iraq, but the P4+1 and most of the European Union won't join such a coalition.

He said Russia was among the winners of the dispute between EU and the US, and added Russian President Vladimir Putin will be happy with the discord among the EU and US. 'Putin, in his attempt to build up Russia, thinks he can do that by weakening any kind of corporation in the West, within Europe or between Europe and the United States.'

He also said that Trump's actions will undermine the cooperation between democratic countries.

He added that Trump may not finish his term. 'Trump is a consummate narcissist' and only thinks about huge things and how they affect him and his wealth.

Regarding North Korea and the cancelled meeting of the US and North Korean presidents, he said that North Korea has paid careful attention to the developments of the JCPOA. The US withdrew from Iran Deal, so it is natural that the North Koreans look at the talks with the US with more caution and pessimism.

After the US President affronted the UNSC, EU, and the whole world, on May 8 US Secretary of State announced the so-called strategy on Iran on May 21, which more sounded like a wish list
