Iran 1st VP congratulates Oman National Day
TEHRAN(defapress)– Iranian First Vice President has congratulated Oman's National Day to his Omani counterpart Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said and the country's people on Sunday.
Referring to the growing relations between Iran and Oman, Ishaq Jahangiri wrote to the deputy prime minister of Oman that the relations will meet the interests of the two countries more than ever.
The national day of Oman is celebrated on November 18.
Oman is a country in the southeast of the Arabia Penninsula. The modern history of this country began in 1970 when Sultan Qaboos bin Saeid, the head of the Sultanate, in a bloodless coup against his father took control of the country. Iran and Oman have friendly relations.
