Terrorists' Strongholds in Hama, Idlib Destroyed in Response to Continued Attacks from Demilitarized Zone

Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and Turkistani terrorist groups attacked the Syrian army positions and residential areas in al-Mashari region in the Eastern parts of the town of Jorin in Northern Hama with missile fire on Wednesday.

The Syrian army responded with massive artillery and missile strikes against the terrorists' strongholds in regions near the two towns of al-Ankawi and Shewerlin in Northern Hama and Qastoun, al-Shariah and al-Hawiz in Western Hama, destroying several of their positions and military equipment and killing a number of militants.

Meantime, the Syrian army troops in Southern and Eastern Idlib launched artillery and missile attacks against Tahrir al-Sham terrorists' moves from al-Khuwain, Tal Sakik, Tal Tar'ei and Khan Sheikhoun towards the military points, inflicting heavy damage and tolls on them.

In a relevant development on Tuesday, a senior commander of Tahrir al-Sham was killed after the Syrian army repelled the terrorist group's offensives from the demilitarized zone in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib.

Tahrir al-Sham terrorists stationed in the town of al-Latamineh in Northern Hama launched missile attacks on the town of Mahradeh.

The Syrian army units in response pounded their positions and moves in al-Latamineh and Kafr Zita, destroying several targets and killing a number of militants, including their commander Mohammed Abdol Rahman al-Ra'ei.

Meantime, in Southern Idlib, the army troops launched fierce artillery and missile attacks on terrorists' movements near Khan Sheikhoun and Tahtaya, inflicting heavy damage on them.
