Al-Watan reported on Monday that tens of families who had been taken hostage by the occupying US forces and their affiliated militants in al-Rukban in al-Tanf region escaped from the camp in Homs province.

It reported that 450 civilians in the US-controlled al-Rukban Camp in Syria's al-Tanf region near the border with Iraq have fled via Jaliqam crossing for areas under the Syrian Army's control in Eastern Homs.
