Iran Exports Millions of COVID-19 Jabs to VenezuelaEinollahi voiced Iran's readiness for exports of COVID-19 vaccines in meetings with his counterparts from 9 foreign countries.

"Iran is able to give poor countries free COVID-19 jabs," he added.

Einollahi underlined that Iran is in fact capable of producing any type of vaccine for viral diseases.

The Iranian health minister reiterated that Iran is no longer worried about the coronavirus.

"There are no indications of a resurgence of the Covid pandemic for now," he said, but urged all people to get vaccinated.

In a relevant development earlier this week, Einollahi said that the Iranian and Cuban nations gained self-sufficiency in different fields faced with the US illegal sanctions.

Einollahi made the remarks in a meeting with his Cuban counterpart José Angel Portal Miranda on the sidelines of the 75th edition of the World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva.

He pointed to the capacity of expanding cooperation in the field of medical and paramedical sciences between universities and research centers of Iran and Cuba, and said that holding workshops and scientific conferences, as well as exchanging professors and students, will help promote the medical sciences of the two countries.

Miranda, for his part, described Iran-Cuba relations as favorable, and called for developing cooperation between the two countries.

Iran and Cuba produced a joint anti-COVID-19 vaccine after the epidemic.

The US has imposed harsh sanctions against Iran and Cuba which prevented easy access to medicine and vaccine.

The Iranian foreign ministry has on many occasions declared that despite Washington’s claims of cooperation to transfer drugs to Iran via the new Swiss-launched payment mechanism, the US is troubling the process amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

Although US claims that medicines and medical equipment are not under sanctions, they have practically blocked the transfer of Iran’s financial resources in other countries into the Swiss Humanitarian Trade Arrangement (SHTA), former Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Abbas Mousavi said.
