Farewell and Funeral Ceremony of the Martyred Leader of the Revolution Will Be Held After the First Decade of Muharram

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Notice No. 2 of the Headquarters for Commemorating the Ascension of Martyr Ayatollah Khamenei was issued, which is as follows:

In view of the extensive planning carried out to hold the magnificent farewell, funeral and burial ceremony of the Ascension of Martyr Ayatollah Khamenei, and the martyrs of the family of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, we inform you that the speculations and rumors published in the media space inside and outside the country regarding the time and details of the aforementioned ceremony, which have confused many interested in attending this great event, are invalid.

In consideration of the character of the Martyr Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in holding mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussein (AS), and the importance of holding mourning ceremonies during these days in all parts of Iran and the world; the farewell, funeral and burial ceremonies of that unique era after the first decade of Muharram will be held, and the final coordination of the responsible agencies and public groups will be made to provide worthy services to the dear mourning people.

The details of this ceremony will be announced by this headquarters at an appropriate time.
