We continue to support Bashar al-Assad
The Russian government spokesman emphasized that Moscow will continue to support the Syrian president and government.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Sputnik, amid the activation of terrorist groups in the northwestern regions of Syria, Russian government spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that Moscow continues to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
He added: "We continue our contacts at the appropriate levels and are analyzing the situation, and a position will be taken on what is necessary to stabilize the situation."
