TEHRAN (Defapress) - Roni Shalom, an expert on the Middle East and cultural intelligence, in an interview with the Zionist newspaper, Ma’ariv, expressed doubts about the effectiveness of the policy of assassinating resistance leaders.
He referred to the martyr Sinwar and stated that the assassination operation was not only unsuccessful, but also attracted new forces and strengthened the spirit of martyrdom among Hamas fighters.
The Israeli expert concluded by admitting that the blade of assassination has become blunt and targeted assassinations are an effective short-term tactic and cannot be considered a long-term strategy to change the fundamental dynamics of the struggle.
