Major General Soleimani's Letter to Supreme Leader for Ending ISIS

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Full text of Major General Qassem Soleimani's letter to the Supreme Leader of Iran regarding the end of ISIS's dominance:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

 “Six years ago, a dangerous sedition similar to the seditions of the time of Amir-al-Momenin which deprived Muslims of the opportunity and sweetness of truly understanding the Muhammadi pure Islam, swept through the Islamic world like a devastating storm, this time complicated and tainted with the poison of Zionism and arrogance.”

This dangerous and poisonous sedition was created by the enemies of Islam with the aim of setting a wide fire in the Islamic world and military conflict between Muslims. The evil movement, under the name of the “Islamic State of Iraq and Syria”, in the very first months succeeded in deceiving tens of thousands of young Muslims, putting two very influential countries of the Islamic world, “Iraq” and “Syria”, into a very dangerous crisis and took over hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of the lands of these countries along with thousands of villages, cities, and important provincial centers. They destroyed thousands of workshops and factories and important infrastructures of these countries, including roads, bridges, refineries, wells oil and gas pipelines and power plants, and other such things, 

and destroyed or burned important cities with precious historical monuments and national civilizations by bombing.

Although the damage figures cannot be estimated, initial estimates indicate five hundred billion dollars. In this incident, extremely painful crimes that cannot be shown took place, including beheading children or peeling alive men in front of their families, taking innocent girls and women captive and raping them, burning people alive, and mass slaughtering hundreds of young people.

Some of the Muslim people of these countries, stunned by this poisonous storm, were caught in the sharp daggers of Takfiri criminals, and millions of other people abandoned their homes and became refugees in other cities and countries.

In this black sedition, thousands of mosques and holy centers of Muslims were destroyed or devastated, and sometimes even the mosque along with its Imam Jama'at and worshipers were blown up.

More than six thousand deceived young people, under the name of defending Islam, blew themselves up in suicide bombings with cars full of explosives in squares, mosques, schools, even hospitals and public centers of Muslims; as a result of these criminal acts, tens of thousands of innocent men, women and children were martyred.

All these crimes, according to the admission of the highest official of the United States, who is currently the President of this country, were planned and carried out by leaders and organizations related to the United States, just as this method is still being planned and being carried out by the current leaders of the United States.

 After the grace of God Almighty and the special care of the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him and his family) and his precious Ahl-ul Bayt, what caused the defeat of this black and dangerous conspiracy, were the wise leadership and wise guidance of Your Excellency and the Supreme Authority Grand Ayatollah Sistani, which led to the mobilization of all resources to confront this poisonous storm.

Certainly, the steadfastness of the governments of Iraq and Syria and the fortitude of the armies and youth of these two countries, especially the holy Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd-al-Shaabi) and other Muslim youth from other countries, with the powerful and pivotal presence of Hezbollah under the leadership of its proud leader, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may God protect him), played a decisive role in defeating this dangerous incident.

Certainly, the valuable role of the nation and the serving government of the Islamic Republic, especially the esteemed Presidency of the Islamic Republic, the Parliament, the Ministry of Defense, and the military, law enforcement, and security organizations of our country in supporting the governments and nations of the aforementioned countries is commendable.

I (the least), as a soldier assigned by Your Majesty in this field, with the completion of the operation to liberate Abu Kamal, the last stronghold of ISIS, by lowering the flag of this American-Zionist group and raising the flag of Syria, I announce the end of the dominance of this accursed, evil family tree.

On behalf of all the commanders and unknown mujahideen of this scene and thousands of Iranian, Iraqi, Syrian, Lebanese, Afghan, and Pakistani martyrs and veterans defending the holy shrines who sacrificed their lives to defend the lives and honors of Muslims and their sanctities, I congratulate Your Excellency and the noble nation of Islamic Iran, the oppressed nations of Iraq and Syria, and other Muslims of the world on this great and important victory, and I put my forehead on earth in gratitude to God Almighty for this great victory. And victory is only granted by God.
