US Military Aid to Ukraine Suspended

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Reuters quoted a White House official as saying that the United States has suspended military aid to Ukraine.

According to Reuters, the United States has stopped sending aid and is reviewing the sending of this aid to ensure that this action is effective in achieving a solution.

Bloomberg and Fox News also reported that the suspension of aid will remain in effect until US President Donald Trump concludes that Kyiv "shows commitment to peace in good faith."

A White House official said: The President has clearly stated that he is focused on peace; therefore, our partners must also be committed to this goal.

Earlier, the New York Times wrote that after the controversy on Friday at the White House and the unprecedented verbal tension between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the option of suspending military aid, including packages approved during the presidency of Joe Biden, will be on Trump's table.
