Lavrov Stresses the Need for an Immediate Halt to US Attacks on Yemen

In a telephone conversation with his American counterpart, the Russian Foreign Minister stressed the need for an immediate halt to the use of force against the Yemeni Ansar Allah and the importance of participating in political dialogue.

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The cessation of US military operations against Ansar Allah is a request that, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov made in a telephone conversation with his American counterpart Marco Rubio a few hours ago.

Lavrov Stresses the Need for an Immediate Halt to US Attacks on Yemen

In this call, he emphasized the importance of political dialogue as a means of achieving peace and stability in the region.

The US State Department previously announced that Rubio briefed Lavrov on the US military operations against the Yemenis.
