TEHRAN (Defapress) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has urged Islamic nations to take immediate action to halt Israeli crimes and prevent further insecurity in the region.
During a phone conversation with his Emirati counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Araqchi strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s atrocities in Gaza, which have led to the deaths of hundreds of innocent Palestinians in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The 2 officials discussed recent regional developments, particularly the ongoing genocide in Gaza and U.S. military strikes on Yemen.
Araqchi criticized the Israeli regime’s brutal actions in Gaza, which have claimed the lives of countless civilians, as well as the U.S. aggression in Yemen, which has resulted in the deaths of innocent women and children and the destruction of critical infrastructure.
He also warned of the dire consequences of the U.N. Security Council and other government’s failure to act against U.S. attacks on Yemen and the Israeli regime’s crimes in occupied Palestine.
In response, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed deep concern over the worsening situation in Gaza and stressed the importance of continued consultations among regional countries to de-escalate tensions and restore stability.
