TEHRAN (Defapress) - While the war in Gaza continues, Hebrew-language sources have reported that the Zionist regime’s military plans to increase its forces in the Gaza Strip, divide it into 2 parts, and then occupy it to pressure Hamas. This once again demonstrates that this illegitimate occupying regime seeks the permanent occupation of Gaza and its annexation to the occupied Palestinian territories.
Over the years, the Zionist regime has pursued various strategies to occupy the Gaza Strip, with overarching goals including gaining control over Gaza, weakening Palestinian Resistance (Hamas and Islamic Jihad), and altering the demographic composition of the region. This confirms that since the occupation of Palestine in 1948, the Zionist regime has sought complete control over Palestinian lands to annex them to its occupied territories.
Reports from within the Zionist regime indicate that its leaders first intend to divide Gaza into 2 sections to further pressure Palestinian Resistance groups, particularly Hamas, and monitor their military and civilian activities.
To achieve this division, the regime plans to establish military corridors like Netzarim and Kissufim, effectively separating northern Gaza from the southern parts. According to the regime’s plans, it aims to control at least 30-40% of Gaza and create buffer zones between these areas and the rest of the Strip.
Alongside the plan to divide Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu’s proposal to occupy northern Gaza and establish settlements there is also being pursued. Experts and media reports suggest that the Zionist regime intends to forcibly displace Gazans, annexing northern Gaza to the occupied Palestinian territories.
Another critical aspect of the Zionist regime’s occupation plans is the creation of security zones to reduce Gaza’s livable area. By establishing multiple buffer zones, the regime aims to tighten its grip over parts of Gaza, further shrinking residential spaces for Palestinians.
Beyond immediate military strategies, the Zionist regime has prepared long-term economic and political plans to dismantle Hamas. One such plan is Netanyahu’s "From Crisis to Prosperity" initiative, which seeks to integrate Gaza’s economy into the regional economy with the support of Arab states. By altering Gaza’s political and demographic structure, the regime aims to weaken and ultimately eliminate Hamas.
Since 1948, the Zionist regime has relied on military force and siege as its primary occupation tools. Following the Gaza war, Tel Aviv’s leaders have openly spoken about occupying Gaza and forcibly expelling its people.
Today, less than 15% of historic Palestinian land remains under Palestinian control, while Gaza endures relentless military attacks and a full blockade. Meanwhile, Palestinian Resistance groups, including Hamas, continue operations like "Al-Aqsa Storm" to thwart the Zionist regime’s sinister plans to occupy Palestinian territories, including Gaza.
