Imam Khomeini's (RA) Thoughts Are the Light of Resistance

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, emphasized in a statement on the occasion of the passing of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran: Imam Khomeini's (RA) thoughts are present on the scene with all their might, and the Islamic nation is witnessing the light of the pure Islam of Muhammad (PBUH) that he spread with his revolutionary plan.

He added: The late Imam crystallised divine and faith values ​​in society, and these values ​​continue to be the light of Resistance and freedom-seeking movements in the region.

Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasised: Imam Khomeini (RA) opposed and fought against oppression and occupation. 

The Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon stated: “After the achievement and success of the divine leader in transforming Iran from an imperial tyranny supported by the US into an independent and proud Islamic Republic that stands with the oppressed and downtrodden of the world; we live with the hope of the victory of truth over falsehood.”

Sheikh Naim Qassem continued by emphasising the pivotal role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the Islamic Ummah, especially the Palestinian issue. He added: “Under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), Islamic Iran stood steadfastly with the Resistance to liberate Palestine and the Holy Quds.”
