Iran's Missile Power Is Rapidly Progressing

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Mostafa Izadi, Commander of the Cyber and Modern Threats Headquarters at the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Base, discussed the use of the strategic missile "Qassem Basir" in the war against the Zionist enemy in an interview with a Defapress correspondent. He stated: "In our missile industry, we possess various capabilities, only some of which have been operationalized, capabilities that led to the disruption of the 'Iron Dome' missile defense system."

General Izadi added: "The fact that a missile has been able to hit a target in the occupied territories accurately demonstrates the unparalleled military capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

He further noted: "The vertical-launch missile of the Islamic Republic of Iran has drawn global attention, as it flies vertically through the atmosphere and strikes its target with high precision."

The Commander of the Cyber and Modern Threats Headquarters at the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Base praised the missile capabilities of the Islamic Republic, emphasizing: "God willing, the development of these capabilities will continue."

According to Defa Press, the Zionist regime carried out a brutal attack on Iran in the early hours of June 13, 2024, martyring several commanders, scientists, and innocent civilians. However, with the devastating response from the Iranian armed forces, this 12-day war ultimately ended after inflicting heavy damage on various military, urban, economic, and security sites in the occupied territories, forcing the enemy to accept a ceasefire.

The Supreme Leader, while congratulating the Iranian nation on its victory over the Zionist enemy, emphasized: "Despite all its clamors and claims, the fake Zionist regime was nearly crushed and flattened under the blows of the Islamic Republic."
