TEHRAN (Defapress) - French media reported that several masked thieves broke windows and stole jewelry belonging to Napoleon and his wife at the Louvre.

The thieves were said to have been fully masked and entered the Louvre Museum from the Seine River. They used an elevator to gain direct access to the hall in question, and after breaking the windows, two men entered the building and carried out the robbery.
According to an inside source at the Louvre, the thieves stole nine pieces from the jewelry collection of Napoleon and his wife, including a necklace, a brooch, and a crown. The jewelry was displayed in the display cases of Napoleon and the French kings.
