TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Defapress correspondent, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, Chief of Staff and Deputy Coordinator of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, about the capability of the armed forces after the 12-day imposed war, emphasizing that the capability of the armed forces is very good, stated: Our capability has always been at a good level.

Referring to the measures taken to increase combat capability, Rear Admiral Sayyari added: We are always working, trying, and planning in accordance with the usual procedure to enhance our combat capability.
The Deputy Coordinator of the Army referred to some news published in cyberspace regarding the import of defense and military equipment and noted: Our efforts and focus have always been on self-sufficiency and providing the required equipment by utilizing domestic capacities.
He continued: This approach has continued since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, and we have moved forward with this strategy; we hope to be able to develop this path and promote it more carefully, which is our main goal.
Rear Admiral Sayyari also referred to the promotion of defense systems and stated that very good measures have been taken in this regard, saying: After every war, the weaknesses and strengths are well identified, and we made extensive efforts to develop the strengths and eliminate the weaknesses, and fortunately, we have achieved very good progress.
