US Secretary of War Refuses to Answer Questions About Attack on Venezuela

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that Washington intends to launch ground attacks to combat drug cartels in Latin America, a move that was proposed after naval operations against boats suspected of carrying drugs last September.

The United States has also deployed its military forces in the Caribbean Sea, near the coast of Venezuela, to be ready for possible action.

In contrast, the Venezuelan leadership has condemned these moves and warned that any military aggression against the country will be met with a strong response.
