Discovery of American Tunnels Between Iraq and Syria

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Maalomah, a security source in Anbar province announced that Iraqi forces succeeded in thwarting the largest terrorist plan against the northern provinces of the country using secret tunnels from Syrian territory.

The source stated that American forces deliberately hid a large underground tunnel between the Syrian Qamishli region and the Iraqi Erbil province. Terrorist elements intended to use this tunnel to organize a massive attack against the northern and southern provinces.

He clarified: Iraqi forces discovered underground routes through which operations were to be carried out with American support.

The source emphasized: The aforementioned underground routes were designed by American companies at huge costs that the ISIS terrorist organization cannot afford.
