TEHRAN (Defapress) - Following the "warmongering statements of the US President," Amir Saeid Iravani, the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations, emphasized in a letter to the UN Secretary-General: Such statements are an example of direct incitement to terrorism and are clear evidence of the intention to commit war crimes in accordance with international law.

In a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the President of the Security Council, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations called on him to firmly condemn these dangerous statements and threats by the US President, which, if realized, would constitute a heinous act of war crimes and state terrorism, gross violations of international humanitarian law, and a clear violation of all relevant Security Council resolutions on the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure in armed conflicts.
