America Is Caught in the Trap of Escalating Tensions

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Robert Pape, a professor of political science at the University of Chicago, in a message on X, considered Washington's irrational demand from Tehran regarding uranium reserves to be the main reason for the failure of the Pakistan peace talks.

This political science expert wrote on his X-network: The US demanded Iran surrender all its enriched uranium, the same demand as before the war. Why would a stronger Iran accept this now? Powerful evidence that the US is caught in the Escalation Trap.

The University of Chicago professor's new comment comes after he had previously said that Iran had become the fourth global power, referring to developments in the regional war with Iran. Pape also said that Iran represented America's greatest defeat since the Vietnam War.
