US Transfers Seized Iranian Ship M/V Touska to Pakistan for Repatriation

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Iranian-flagged cargo vessel M/V Touska, which was seized by U.S. forces last month for attempting to breach the American naval blockade, has been transferred to Pakistani custody for repatriation to Iran along with its crew, a U.S. Central Command spokesman told ABC News.

According to CENTCOM, U.S. forces transferred 22 crew members to Pakistani authorities, while six others had already been transferred to a "regional country for repatriation" last week. The military command added that custody of the ship is now being "transferred back to its original ownership" following its interception in April.
