Shehbaz Sharif Condemns Missile and Drone attacks on UAE

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned yesterday's missile and drone attacks on the UAE.

In a message on X, he expressed full solidarity with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wrote: "Pakistan strongly condemns the missile and drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in the UAE."

Shehbaz Sharif added: "Pakistan stands firmly with its Emirati brothers and sisters and the UAE government in this difficult time. It is necessary to maintain and respect the ceasefire so that the necessary diplomatic space for dialogue is provided and we witness lasting peace and stability in the region."

Pakistan is currently playing the role of a mediator between Iran and the United States. Islamabad hosted the first round of ceasefire talks between Tehran and Washington in Islamabad this year and continues to exchange messages between the two sides.
