Martyrs of the Medical Staff Combined Knowledge and Practice with Martyrdom

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Abdollahi, Commander of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH), issued a message appreciating the efforts of the medical staff during the Third Imposed War against the United States and the Zionist regime.

The text of the message is as follows:

In these moments of the mission of the dear Iranian people, we honor the memory of our martyred leader and Imam, and we salute that brave and wise commander who, looking beyond time, linked the path of serving the people to the highest levels of jihad and guided us on the path of resistance with the slogan of "preserving human dignity."

We also honor with respect and devotion the memory of the martyred high-ranking commanders of the armed forces and the selfless warriors who, by sacrificing their lives, interpreted sacrifice and paved the path of guidance and resistance for us.

On this glorious path, the heroic nation of Iran and the armed forces have always benefited from the historical and glorious presence of the "martyrs of the medical staff." The heroes who, amidst wounds and blood, while themselves in danger, sacrificed their lives so that the wounded could breathe. Those who combined knowledge and action with martyrdom in the midst of the "Ramadan War" are now witnessing the glory of your steadfastness alongside the Imam and the great martyred commanders and are proud of their great nation.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, I sincerely appreciate and express my gratitude for the continuous and valuable efforts of professors, doctors, nurses, paramedics, rescuers and other health workers working in medical universities, health and treatment departments of the armed forces, public, non-governmental and private sectors, and dear volunteers of the medical community who revived the lives of more than 34,000 wounded with exemplary skill during the Ramadan War.

You have shown that on the battlefield, the component of power is not only bullets, but also your powerful hands that, in the darkest moments, restore the light of hope and life to the wounded.

Your presence in the midst of the fire is the true manifestation of that unity that puts science at the service of belief and defense of the homeland and the great ideals of the nation.

Your names, the heroes of the Mujahidin, are recorded in the history of this front as "life-savers" who, in the most difficult moments, instead of retreating, rushed towards the wounds.

Know that every beating of a wounded heart and every breath returned is a testimony to the authenticity of the mission and the glory of your service.

I ask God Almighty for everyone's health, dignity, and stability under the care of His Holiness Imam Zaman (a.s.) and under the wise leadership and guidance of the Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Holiness Ayatollah Seyyed Mujtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
