Tehran and Muscat Hold Consultations on the Future of the Strait of Hormuz

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Seyed Abbas Araghchi, publishing a message on social media, described the call as “very constructive” and wrote: The Islamic Republic of Iran has declared its full solidarity with Oman against any threat.

Regarding the telephone call with his Omani counterpart, he wrote: In a very productive call with Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, he expressed Iran's solidarity with Oman in the face of any threat. The Foreign Minister of Iran continued to emphasize: We discussed Hormuz and its future administration in line with our sovereign responsibilities and international law.

Araghchi emphasized: We welcome consultation with all neighboring states.
