$30,000 Reward for Killing or Capturing American Aggressors

TEHRAN (Defapress) - At a ceremony commemorating Journalist Day held today (Sunday), Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army, referred to the existence of numerous verses in the Holy Quran that emphasize "jihad" and stated: "Various people express this issue that they are not capable of jihad in the combat field, but they can support the Armed Forces and confront the enemies financially; on this basis and with the participation of these same people, a decision was made that if any Iranian force can capture or kill an aggressor American force, they will receive a $30,000 reward from the Iranian people."

In another part of his speech, Major General Hatami referred to the progress of the defense industry and the continuation of the production of equipment needed by the Armed Forces, stating: “During the recent war, this process did not stop even for a moment.”

The Commander-in-Chief of the Army also pointed out the complete dominance of the Islamic Republic of Iran over the strategic Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing: “This strait will never return to its previous status and will be managed and controlled by Iranian arrangements.”

Regarding the impact of the media’s performance in the recently imposed war, he also said: “In this war, in addition to the military field, we also won in the media war.”
