Syrian Army to Capture Douma City Any Minute

The army units are about to seize back control over the Kurdi hills in the Damascus countryside, which are only 15 kilometers away from Douma.

Also in the past 24 hours, the leader of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) Takfiri group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, reportedly escaped to Iraq's Mosul after serious injury, media reports said.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) announced that the leader of the terrorist organization arrived in the city of Mosul after fleeing the region under airstrikes on the Syrian city of Raqqa, Iraqi News reported.

The Takfiri terrorists currently control parts of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blame Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.

Elsewhere, the army foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempt from al-Barghouthia into Tal Fraitan in the Eastern countryside of Homs central province, leaving a number of them dead and wounded.

Meanwhile, the army troops also destroyed militants' hideouts in the farms surrounding Sa’sa’ town in Damascus Countryside, and killed many terrorists and injured others.

Elsewhere, the foreign-sponsored militants suffered major losses as the Syrian Army struck heavy blow at the armed groups in Deir Ezzur and Daraa.

A military source said that the army soldiers stormed the strongholds of the ISIL terrorists in al-Hamidiye and al-Taka neighborhoods in Deir Ezzur province, killing and injuring too many members of the Takfiri group.

Another unit targeted gathering centers of the ISIL terrorists in the town of Mohassan and its surroundings in Daraa’s Eastern countryside, eliminating a number of them, injuring others, and destroying their weapons and vehicles.

Meantime, the Syrian troops claimed the lives of too many rebels in Deir al-Adas and Tisiya towns in Daraa countryside.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians.

The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.

As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
