Lebanon's victory 'a bitter defeat on Zionist regime's record'

 Larijani offered congratulations on 17th anniversary of Israeli regime's withdrawal from southern Lebanon, saying the victory has been realized in the shadow of unity and empathy of the nation and government, as well as the wisdom and perspicacity of discerning authorities, especially Nabih Berri and Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah to record a bitter defeat on the history of the Zionist regime's aggression.

He also wished for the health, success and happiness of Nabih Berri, Lobanese government and the ntion.

After 19 years of fighrs and occupation of the southern areas of Lebanon, the Israeli regime retreated from the area on May 25, 2000, after being defeated by Hezbollah forces.
