Syrian Soldiers Impose Control over More Strategic Hills, Heights in Eastern Hama
The army men managed to advance almost 10km against ISIL
near the town of Ithriya Southeast of Katfah and captured several hills and
heights overlooking the region. The army soldiers also freed the village of
Tweinat in Eastern Hama from ISIL.
In the meantime, the army units liberated several hills along the road connecting the town of Aqayrabat towards the Northwestern direction of Palmyra city in Eastern Homs.
Also, the army aircraft and the Russian fighter jets pounded ISIL's positions and movements in Eastern Hama, killing tens of terrorists and destroying their equipment.
Relevant reports said on Monday that the army men, deployed South of Khara'eb al-Katnah, engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL and advanced 15km in the depth of terrorist-held territories.
The army men pushed ISIL back from al-Rawij region and reached North of Ba'ar Hasiyeh.
In the meantime, the army soldiers managed to advance against ISIL from their positions in Jubb al-Mazari'a East of the village of Salba and took control over al-Rahil Farm region.
ISIL suffered heavy casualties and its military hardware sustained major damage.
