Pres. Rouhani felicitates Nicaragua on National Day
TEHRAN (defapress) – President Rouhani has forwarded a message of felicitation to President Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day on September 15.
In his message forwarded on Friday, Iranian President Hassan
Rouhani congratulated President Daniel Ortega and the people of Nicaragua as
they celebrated the anniversary of their independence on September 15.
President Rouhani stressed strong support for mutual efforts between the two sides for further development of relations and expansion of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
He also prayed for the president’s continued health and success, as well as the nation’s felicity and prosperity.
The National Day of Nicaragua is celebrated every year on September 15, in commemoration of Nicaragua's declaration of independence from Spain in 1821.
