De Mistura visits Moscow to discuss Syrian-Syrian talks of Geneva
TEHRAN(defapress)– UN special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura said Tuesday that he will meet Russian Foreign and Defense Ministers, Sergey Lavrov and Sergey Schweigo in Moscow on Wednesday.
"I can affirm that,” De Mistura told Sputnik, adding that
the meetings will deal with the resumption of the political process in Geneva
according to the UN Security Council resolution No.2254.
De Mistura said earlier that he will announce the date of the upcoming round of the talks, expecting it to be at the end of October.
