Iran's Army Ready to Give Tough Response to Enemy's Aggressive Move

"The Army is ready to thwart any type of enemy's threats," General Heidari said on Tuesday.

He reiterated that not only the US, but also other enemies who seek to make a hostile move against the country, will face a crushing reaction.

"As it has been mentioned by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei "America can't do a damn thing against Iran," General Heidari said, noting that such belief has been institutionalized among all Armed Forces of Iran.

He pointed to the recent riots in Iran, and said that the nation follows the guidelines of the Supreme Leader and has separated his way from those who follow enemies' orders.

After some Iranians took to the streets to protest against unemployment and high prices, the protests turned violent in some cases due to the provocation of certain foreign states.

Certain elements penetrated the lines of protestors to drive the peaceful protests towards violence. US President Donald Trump has overtly supported the rioters in several tweets.
