TEHRAN (defapress)- The Turkish Army men and Ankara-affiliated militants continued Operation Olive Branch against Kurds in Northwestern Aleppo and captured more lands, including the strategic Rajou region on Saturday.

Turkish Army Occupies Key Kurdish-Held Region in Northern SyriaThe army troops and their allied militant groups pushed the Kurdish fighters back from Rajou region.

The forces of Operation Olive Branch also captured the villages of Jamilak and al-Ramadiyeh in Jandaris region after a tough battle with the Kurdish combatants. 

Field sources reported earlier today that the army troops and Ankara-backed militants managed to advance against the Kurdish fighters and laid siege on the strategic Rajou region from three directions within the framework of Operation Olive Branch.

The sources said that the army men and allied militants stormed the Kurds again and captured the villages of Maskanli, Mamli, Atmanli and Mosaco, laying siege on the Kurdish militants in Rajou region from the three Northern, Western and Southern directions.
