The Kurdish-language Hawar news reported that the Kurdish combatants fired several rockets at the Turkish units and allied militants in the village of Baflor near the town of Jandaris, destroying four vehicles and killing all of the forces of Operation Olive Branch on board, adding that the Ankara forces were plundering the villagers' houses.
Hawar news further said that the Kurds also engaged in fierce clashes with the Ankara forces in the villages of Baflon and Jama in Shera region and destroyed a military vehicle, killing a number of Turkey-backed forces.
In the meantime, 37 Turkish soldiers and allied militants were killed and tens of others were wounded in clashes with the Kurds in the village of Ba'adina and Mabata region and Kowanda in Rajou region.
Field sources reported earlier today that the army troops and Ankara-backed militants managed to advance against the Kurdish fighters and laid siege on the strategic Rajou region from three directions within the framework of Operation Olive Branch.
The sources said that the army men and allied militants stormed the Kurds again and captured the villages of Maskanli, Mamli, Atmanli and Mosaco, laying siege on the Kurdish militants in Rajou region from the three Northern, Western and Southern directions.
