The sources said that the army and its allied militants clashed with the Kurdish fighters and captured the village of Arnadah in Sheikh Hadid region West of Afrin.
The sources further said that the forces of Operation Olive Branch pushed the Kurds back from Mount Bafiloun and a village with the same name that were considered as one of the main strongholds of the Kurds, deploying at the gates of Sheran region across from the town of Azaz.
The sources added that the Ankara forces occupied the village of Khalili, Khalili hill and 1102 hills in Rajou region.
In a relevant development on Sunday the Turkish army men and their allied militants stormed Kurdish positions and captured Sheikh Hadid.
A field sources said that Sheikh Hadid is one of the most important settlements in Afrin region, adding that the Ankara forces' control over Sheikh Hadid has paved way for the opening of the road between Azaz region and all other regions that are under the control of the Euphrates Shield between Idlib city and Northern Syria.
The Operation Olive Branch forces had previously captured the villages of Haj Khalil in Rajou region and Mostakan in Sheikh Hadid.
