Iran’s security forces thwart terrorists’ attempt to seize Mirjaveh watchtower

Tehran (Defapress) - IRGC in its announcement said, “A terrorist group from Pakistan territory attacked the watchtower of Disciplinary Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran on 1:30 local time on Tuesday to seize it but faced the intense resistance of Iranian border guards from inside the watchtower and as the reinforcements entered the clash, terrorists couldn’t reach their purpose”.

The statement added, “During the clash, three terrorists died and some were injured or escaped the area. A reinforcements vehicle also hit a booby trap during which two IRGC forces lost their lives and two other were wounded”.

A border guard force also lost his live in the abortive terrorist attack.

The statement highlighted that all the forces deployed to the area are fully prepared for decisive confrontation with any hostile movement and expects the allied countries to stop being shelter for enemies.
