Afghan Air Force Conducting 12 Strikes on Insurgents Daily
The Afghan Defense Ministry said that the Afghan Air Force carrying out over 100 flights a day, which includes air strikes and support missions.
TEHRAN (Defapress)-The Ministry said that the Afghan Air Force (AAF) is conducting at least twelve air strikes on insurgent strongholds on a daily basis across the country and that these strikes have been constructive in tackling militants, TOLOnews reported.
Defense Minister Tariq Shah Bahrami meanwhile said that the Afghan army is fully capable of defending Afghanistan’s sovereignty and the people.
“This is an army which is capable of defending the national values and geography of the country and will protect its people,” said Bahrami.
