Yemen Fires Ballistic Missile at Saudi-Backed Mercenaries in Ma’aribTEHRAN (Defapress) –The short-range ballistic missile successfully hit the military base of the Riyadh-backed mercenaries in Ma'rib, killing and injuring a number of them, an informed source told the Arabic-language al-Masirah TV on Thursday.

In another operation, the Yemeni forces attacked four columns of the Saudi aggressors and destroyed one of the armored vehicles of the militants in the west coast region, which led to the killing of a number of them.

The Yemeni snipers also managed to hit four Saudi mercenaries in the west coast region, another source said, according to the report.

The attacks came as warplanes of the Saudi-led military coalition on Thursday launched an airstrike on a bus carrying children in Yemen, killing at least 39 civilians and injuring more than 50 others.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the alliance for more than three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

The Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights announced in a statement on March 25 that the war had left 600,000 civilians dead and injured until then. The war and the accompanying blockade have also caused famine across Yemen.
