Japan welcomes cooperation with Iran in environment
Tehran (defapress) – Japan environment minister in a meeting with Iranian envoy to the country, welcomed cooperation with Iran in the environment field.
Tokyo expects that cooperation between Iran and Japan in the field of environment will be promoted this year, Japan's Environment Minister Masaharu Nakagawa said.
The Japanese minister made the remarks in a meeting with the Iranian Ambassador to Japan Morteza Rahmani-Movahed.
In the meantime, the Iranian envoy stressed the necessity of bilateral and international cooperation in the area of environment.
Iran is ready to develop cooperation with Japan in all fields, in particular, the environmental protection, he added.
