Trump overplays anti-Iran sanctions’ impact for other countriesIranian Parliament Speaker Special Aide on International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Malaysian Ambassador to Tehran, Rustam Bin Yahaya, on Thursday.

He voiced confidence that the US psychological sanction warfare will not yield any results.

Elsewhere, the Iranian official noted the condition of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, saying “Muslim countries must not neglect the grievous situation of the Muslim minority in Myanmar.”

“Unfortunately, the pace of the crisis in Myanmar is far quicker than the pace of finding solutions for its settlement,” he added.

Amir-Abdollahahin further described Malaysia’s measures with respect to the situation of Rohingya Muslims as “realistic”.

The Malaysian ambassador, for his part, noted the new round of US sanctions against Iran, stressing that his country is looking for ways to remove the obstacles and facilitate transactions with Iran.

He further voiced Malaysia’s readiness to expand parliamentary relations with Iran.
