Iran Blasts S. Arabia for Nurturing Al-Qaeda, Taliban, ISIL"The Saudi Wahhabism has nourished al-Qaeda, Taliban, the ISIL and other major terrorist groups in the world. It is not surprising that all of them enjoyed the Saudi logistical, political and financial support," Hassaninejad said, addressing a meeting of the Third Committee on human rights.

He deplored remarks by the Saudi representative at the meeting against Iran, saying that his words are uttered while any hope for the establishment of democracy fades away by Riyadh's support for the terrorist groups.

"Human rights and democracy are the biggest enemies of the corrupt Saudi rulers," Hassaninejad said.

He also referred to the Saudi-led coalition's airstrikes against a bus carrying school children in Yemen, noting that the crime is just a reminder of the actions of a devil named the ISIL.

The Iranian diplomat said the Saudi envoy should have kept mum and stop preaching Iran over human rigths if it had felt an iota of shame.

"But it would be illogical to expect shame from Saudi Arabia that has recently shifted its favorable tool from sword to saw," he said in sarcastic remarks, alluding to the assassination of renowned journalist Jama Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul and his dismemberment by a bone saw.

Saudi Arabia has been promoting Wahhabism in the world which is the root cause of Takfiri terrorism.

In relevant remarks in September, the Iranian foreign ministry blasted Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir for his anti-Iran remarks at the UN General Assembly, stressing that all the world states were aware of Riyadh's sponsorship of different terrorist groups.

"Undoubtedly, Saudi Arabia is the most infamous supporter of terrorism in the world, and the root cause and origin of terrorism which has entangled the entire world, specially, the Middle-East, is nowhere but in Saudi Arabia and the extremist thoughts that the regime promotes and supports financially," Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said.

He lashed out at al-Jubeir for misusing the UN tribune to raise allegations of terrorism against Iran, and said the remarks by Saudi foreign minister, whose country has launched a catastrophic and destructive war against the Muslim country of Yemen for 5 years and supports extremism, violence and warmongering, are rooted in the thoughts promoted by him and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
