Several Civilians Killed in US-Led Coalition's Phosphorus Attack on Eastern Syria
TEHRAN (defapress)- More civilians, including women and children, were killed by phosphorous bombs dropped by the US-led coalition warplanes on Eastern Deir Ezzur.
The US-led coalition fighter jets conducted chemical bomb attack using white phosphorus on the gatherings of the civilians in al-Baghouz farms in Eastern Deir Ezzur along the border with Iraq on Thursday.
Several civilians, most of them women and children, were killed and wounded in the air raids by the US-led coalition, local sources in Eastern Deir Ezzur were quoted as saying.
The US-led coalition fighter jets had also pounded the besieged Al-Baghouz Foqani Town in Eastern Syria with phosphorus gas on Monday.
"The US-led fighter jets hit Baghouz farms in Eastern Deir Ezzur with missiles containing white phosphorus substance," the Arabic-language media quoted local sources in Deir Ezzur as saying.
