Rouhani, cabinet renew allegiance to Imam Khomeini’s ideals
TEHRAN (defapress) – President Rouhani and members of the Council of Ministers pledged allegiance with the high ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini (RA) at his mausoleum in Tehran.
Visiting the mausoleum on Sunday morning, Rouhani paid tribute to Imam Khomeini by placing a bouquet of flowers on his grave.
The visit came on the second day of the 10-Day Fajr celebrations that marks the 41st anniversary of the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, which overthrew the monarchy of the US-backed Pahlavi regime in Iran.
