The martyrdom of a Hamas commander in Lebanon
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military branch of the Hamas movement announced the martyrdom of one of the commanders of this movement in Lebanon on Friday night (May 17, 2024). 
TEHRAN (defapress) – According to the Arabic news agencies, The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that Sharhbil al-Sayed, known as Abu Omar, was martyred in an airstrike by the Zionist regime on his vehicle in the western Bekaa in eastern Lebanon.
According to this report, an Israeli army drone targeted a vehicle on the road between Rushia and Al-Masna, on the border of Lebanon and Syria.
